I’ve wanted one since I was a boy. My dad was organist at the local Episcopal church and there was an Englishman who always drove Jaguars. My dad (and I) always admired them but never owned one. He died last fall so in his honor and having read lots of Oppo I knew I wanted to get a Series 3 XJ6 I, my favorite, while you can still find decent ones for cheap. My wife is totally on board too ha.

It was also sort of an anniversary present to ourselves after we successfully paid off all the hospital bills from the birth of our son and still had money leftover. He doesn’t fit in the TR6 so we needed something classy to take him for rides in.
